Airplane! threes and fours are probably equivalent to most other movies’ nines and tens. We rated each joke only in reference to other Airplane! jokes.And we probably made some wrong decisions. We had to make tough calls on when to rate jokes individually or as part of a larger joke.So if you’re redoing this study (not sure why you would), please find some people that hate it and some people that have never seen it.
